Who we are

INTO THE PITS is a free browser game. Contact: [email protected].

What we store on your device

Your game progress (gold, best score and time, upgrades, abilities, your character's look, settings) is saved in your browser's localStorage, on your device only. We run no accounts. Clearing your browser data erases it.

The scoreboard

If — and only if — you set a pit name in the scoreboard panel, we store that name, your best survival time, and a random anonymous player id on our leaderboard database (hosted by Supabase) so your entry can appear on the global board. The id is generated on your device and is not linked to your identity; we never collect your email, IP-based profile, or any personal details. Don't set a pit name and nothing is ever sent. To have an entry removed, email us the pit name and we'll delete it.

Advertising

The game is funded by ads served by Google AdSense / Google H5 Games Ads. When you first play, you choose between personalized and non-personalized ads. With non-personalized ads, Google does not use your browsing history for targeting, but may still use cookies or device identifiers for frequency capping, fraud prevention, and aggregate reporting.
